Robert Trent Jones Sr. turned this sprawling 240 acre former dairy farm into a golf course recognized by Golf Digest as on eof the finest daily fee courses in the nation. The Rail was also recognized as the 4th best "women-friendly" course in the nation by Golf for Women Magazine, and it plays host to the LPGA Tour's State Farm Rail Classic every Labor Day weekend. The course has lush, blue grass fairways, and large, elevated and undulating greens. The 85 Jones type sand bunkers and a splash of strategically placed water hazards make The Rail a challenge for all levels of players.
