Sierra Star GC is Mammoth's only 18 hole course. This par 70, championship course incorporates lush, tree lined fairways, well trapped greens and numerous lakes, ponds, waterfalls and streams. It's 18 holes are nestled in a cozy shelter of Jeffrey Pine and White Fir trees covering 6708 yards. The resident wildlife population thrives with deer sightings and bear prints embedded in the sand being commonplace.
At Sierra Star's elevation of 8000 feet, the ball will fly farther and, while the terrain is gently rolling with overall elevation changes of about 500 feet, course designers created a unique characteristic at each of the holes.
